We love to travel and prior to 2020 we did quite a bit of it with both of our organisations, but outside of that we also like to add more!
With the main income source changing to a part time, work from anywhere, role at the start of 2023, it allowed even greater opportunities to move to a digital nomad life.
Our original blogs related to an an Epic Round the World in 60 days trip in 2019 that was four years in the making. That was conference and holidays with 23 flights ten countries and planned it all with carry on luggage. That was a challenge with the various activities and climates like attending conferences and hiking the Inca trail, in the tropics to traveling through Patagonia in the middle of winter!
Covid brought local travel so we ended up converting our big forby to a camper and headed around Queensland when we could.
But 2023 has brought global travel back, and the change to true Digital Nomad has allowed us to volunteer in places we have dreamed of, going quite a bit slower, and have been using this year as a bit of a test as a year of volunteer.
